appGENIUS – Your salon in your client’s pocket

This is a personalised app for your salon/spa helping your business engage with your clients simply and effectively. Alergy Alert in SALONGENIUS

The first salon software system to include the full suite of allergy alert test client consultation questions, allowing stylists to keep all client records secure within their salon management system using myGENIUS. SALONGENIUS Technical Histories and Allergy Alert integration via myGENIUS provide a complete record of a client’s colour history, allowing stylists to offer a safe and effective colour care service, while offering the stylist peace of mind that they are operating in a way that means they are protected under their insurance policy without necessarily having to allergy test before every colour application.

The allergy alert consultation in myGENIUS also highlights certain situations where allergy alert tests are necessary – for example if the client is transferring to a new colour manufacturer/ product brand, or has had a previous reaction and/or has had a tattoo, henna or black tattoo or permanent make-up since their last colour.

The Allergy Alert Consultation and Colour Record Card was developed by the National Hairdressers’ Federation (NHF), TONI&GUY and industry leading insurance companies ,giving hairdressers greater flexibility over allergy testing.





SalonSpy –  The equivalent to Trip Advisor for hairdressers

SalonSpy is a free service to existing SALONGENIUS customers, you can be registered and set up in minutes – this is the perfect platform for your clients to tell everyone who fabulous you really are! So instead of blowing your own trumpet someone else can do it for you! The power of word of mouth to both salon owners and clients can be utilised by using SalonSpy.

Only 14% of online consumers trust advertising, but 90% trust recommendations from people they know and 70% trust recommendations from strangers.

Reviews are the new advertising – by giving your business an interactive platform you can connect with larger audiences whilst managing your online reviews. You can set you SALONGENIUS system up to text your clients (SMS messages would be charged for) as they leave the salon asking them to leave a review.
